Website choices
Cookie Policy
FlowGrid keeps tracking deliberately limited. Necessary storage supports language and consent choices; Google Analytics is allowed only when a visitor chooses it.
Effective 25 July 2026
What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies and similar browser technologies used on the public FlowGrid website. A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information on the same device.
Necessary technologies operate without optional consent because they are needed to deliver a requested function. Analytics is optional and remains blocked until permission is given.
Technologies used on this website
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | FlowGrid | Remembers the selected website language and supports locale routing. | Browser session | Necessary |
flowgrid-cookie-consent | FlowGrid local storage | Records whether analytics was allowed or declined so the website can honour the choice. | 180 days | Necessary |
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes browsers for aggregated website measurement. | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Maintains session information for the configured Analytics property. | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
Analytics rows apply only when Google Analytics is configured and the visitor has allowed analytics. FlowGrid does not currently use advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies on the public website.
How analytics is used
If permission is given, Google Analytics can collect page views, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser details, referral information, and interactions with website content. FlowGrid uses this information to understand aggregate traffic and improve the website.
FlowGrid uses a basic consent model: the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics request is sent before analytics permission. The website does not grant Google advertising storage, advertising user data, or advertising personalisation permission.
Make or change a choice
Choosing “Only necessary” leaves analytics disabled. Choosing “Allow analytics” enables Google Analytics on that browser. Access to the website does not depend on accepting analytics.
Clearing browser storage may remove the saved choice and cause the notice to appear again. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies. Blocking the language cookie may cause the site to return to its default language.
New tools and policy changes
Before adding a new analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or support tool that stores or accesses information on a visitor's device, FlowGrid must review the tool, update this table, and add it to the consent controls where required. A new purpose will not be treated as covered by an older, unrelated choice.
